SETH "SANDY" SONESEN
    WORLAND--Graveside services for Seth "Sandy" Sonesen, 52, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with American Legion Post No. 44 of Worland conducting graveside military honors.
    He died April 30, 1999, at Washakie Memorial Hospital in Worland.  He was born Sept. 28, 1946, to William Edward and Carolyn Mae (Waddell) Sonesen, in Gillette.
    He was raised in Thermopolis, and attended school there.  He attended Central Wyoming College in Riverton for two years, and worked as a youth alternative director locally, maintaining the fountain at the Washakie County Courthouse west lawn.
    He then served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in November of 1965.  He returned to the Worland area, and began  
driving trucks over the road for Dees Trucking.  He had also worked for other trucking companies in the area.
    He was married May 11, 1965, to LaDonna Kay Short, in Thermopolis.
    He was an active member of the Floyd Minch Post No. 44 American Legion in Worland, where he had served on the honor and color guards.  He enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends.
    He is survived by his wife; his mother, Carolyn Starrett of Hayward, Wis.; sons, Andrew Leroy Sonesen of Gillette, and Brian Keith and Jerome Wayne Sonesen of Worland, and Timothy Allen Sonesen of Gillette; brothers, Michael Sonesen of Cable, Wis., Kenneth Jay Sonesen of Lehi, Utah, Bobby Joe Sonesen of Casper, and Lloyd Brown of Turtle Lake Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
    Veile Mortuary of Worland is in charge of arrangements.
