JACQUE L. (JOHNSON) TYLER
LAUREL (MT) - Jacque L. Tyler died Nov. 9,
2002, at home, after a courageous battle against cancer.
Jacque was born on May 27, 1948 in Thermopolis,
Wyo., to Marjorie (Brown) and Martin Johnson.
She attended rural one-room schools and
graduated from the eighth grade at Hamilton Dome. She attended high school in
Thermopolis, graduating salutatorian of her class. After high school, Jacque
attended Billings Business College and worked at several jobs, including
reservations clerical work in Yellowstone National Park. After leaving the
park service, she became the secretary tothe superintendent of the West
Yellowstone School District. In 1994, Jacque moved from New Hampshire to
Cody, Wyoming., to care for her father. At the same time, she was working for
Wal-Mart as a cashier.
In 1997, she met the love of her life, Robert H.
Tyler. They moved to Laurael and were married in 1999 at the Wedding Chapel
on Rock Creek in Red Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Rob, of Laurel;
her daughter Grace (Marc) Desrosiers and granddaughter Megan, son James (Elisha)
Quinney, all of Rochester, N.H.; and daughter Jill (Chris) LaGrange of
Wellington, New Zealand; a brother John (Lianne) Johnson and their children
Lisa, Greg and Gayle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel was in charge of
arrangements and cremation. A memorial services will take place at a later
date.
