UNOFFICIAL THERMOP ALUMNI MAIL LISTS

At this time we maintain just 8 mail lists here at Thermopolis.org.    ths60 (the founding class),   ths61,ths63,ths65,  ths66, ths67
ths72 and ths73.    Not all are fully implemented or real active, but they do exist and probably have websites to accompany them.    Each list year is intended to serve mostly folks that either did, or would have been in the graduating class of that year.

Ths60 was the test, the first, the beta.   It was the founding list, and the name was picked sort of thinking of it as a pattern  for others to follow.

We do not sell, rent or give away any email addresses from this list.     As other classes join up they will have similar list email addresses.

The list at this time is open, meaning anyone can join, no permission is required.   If spammers or such start joining and abusing these lists we will make them closed, meaning permission of the list administrator will be required.

Anyone emailing thsYY@thermopolis.org (YY replaced with year) will have their message sent to all members of the list.

Participating in the lists is fun and easy.   Just go down below to the list you wish to join and use the clicks in the box below to sign up, then anything you or any other member sends to the list will go to you just like it goes to every other member.

If you know of any other classmates that are not on the list, you should refer them to this page !

Likewise, if you are changing your email address, take your old address off and put your new one
on by using these links.

<<<The moderator email addresses below have spaces put in them deliberately, to prevent spam harvesters from grabbing them.   To email any of these folks, just take out the space that is either before or just after the @ symbol. >>>

The Thermopolis.org domain, website, and associated mail lists were conceived and registered by Robin Galyan and funded totally by him initially.    After a couple years assistance with the internic and hosting fees was subsequently provided for by donations of the entire class of 1960, led by the initial generosity of Bill Merrill.  The following year the class of 1961 pitched in and helped some as well.  To those generous folks we owe our thanks!   The webdesign is done by various people, all donated time and effort.  The webspace and mail list services for this project are  graciously provided at deep discount  by Dataworld's Net-Express Internet.    If you are considering commercial hosting for your website, they would be a good place to start!  If you have some web talent, please dont hesitate to volunteer to  give us a hand!

This site is privately owned and operated and derives no benefit or support from any school, county,  state or federal funds.    This is not an "official" anything site.   The only rules are those of the webmaster.

We would love to help you and your old chums and classmates have your own website and your own mail-list.  Just ask!
